While on assignment with Disney, Doug had the good fortune to meet one of the heads of Pixar. When asked for a bit of advice about the movie business, the response was immediate and unflinching: “Quality is the best business plan.”
That simple, clear wisdom validated everything Doug and George had been working toward. It has now become the mantra for Group Six Films and carries into everything we do.
Sadly, not long ago George passed away from a sudden illness. One of his many cherished legacies is having kicked Doug in the ass to tell better stories and to do some good with them.
